During 2011 work started on Charan Sanit Wong to extend the MRT (metro) system in Bangkok. This work is due to be completed in 2015 to extend the MRT line that already runs from Hualamphong (main railway station) to Bang Sue (the future high speed rail terminus to China). The station list will be as follows (of interest/use to marina house):
